This is a partial toile - made up in a heavy calico. I'm not going to make it up fully, I just needed to be sure of the fit and that all the seams match. So far so good.
Thankyou! I havn't fully decided on what boning to use - I'm waiting on a sample of oval reed - a natural wooden boning to be delivered. If that turns out to be unsuitable I will need to rethink. Your use of cable ties has inspired me as an alternative!
Shiny! I experimented with the red background. I think it looks better on your blog. What are you using for bones?
